Added ORCID Support

I’ve just added support for ORCID authentication on this forum. Happy to hear any feedback about this feature here or over in the Site Feedback category. Thanks!

Is there a way to link ORCID with my current account (as opposed to a brand new login)?

ooh that’s a good question. i’m not sure. let me look into it and get back to you.

@rahewitt, i added support for this. you can

  1. click on your avatar (top right)
  2. click on the “profile” icon

  3. click on “preferences”
  4. on the account tab, under “Associated Accounts” you should be able to add your GitHub and an “OAuth 2” account which is ORCID.
